    mobileCore Guidelines

    These mobileCore Guidelines ("Guidelines") govern your use of the mobileCore Platform and/or mobileCore Services. Terms not defined herein, shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the mobileCore SDK License Agreement and/or the mobileCore Advertiser Agreement and/or the Publisher License Agreement.

  • 2.

    General

    You must ensure that the Developer App and/or the Advertised Content and/or Publisher Assets, as applicable, are in compliance with all Applicable Rules, including without limitation, the App Stores guidelines, as may be updated from time to time. You acknowledge and agree that ironSource reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove or exclude any Developer App and/or Advertised Content and/or Publisher Assets, as applicable, for any reason, at any time, without notice to you.

  • 3.

    Representation

    • 3.1.

      The Developer App and/or the Advertised Content and/or Publisher Assets, as applicable, may not include false endorsement.

    • 3.2

      The Developer App and/or the Advertised Content and/or Publisher Assets, as applicable may not mislead End Users or create End User confusion with regard to the source, owner, purpose, functionality or features of the Developer App and/or the Advertised Content and/or Publisher Assets.

  • 4.

    Content

    • 4.1.

      The Developer App and/or the Advertised Content and/or Publisher Assets, as applicable and unless otherwise agreed in writing with ironSource, shall not engage in, enable, induce, promote or constitute any product or service that is or is connected to:

      • 4.1.1

        Brokering and/or re-brokering;

      • 4.1.2

        machine generated clicks, click-throughs or other automated interactions.

      • 4.1.3

        the sale or consumption of illegal, recreational drugs or prescription drugs, alcohol or tobacco products, fake or counterfeit goods;

      • 4.1.4

        software pirating, including mobile applications that facilitate the use or download of illegal content, or are engaged in any illegal activity, including torrent sites, P2P or file sharing sites;

      • 4.1.5

        false, deceptive, fraudulent or misleading;

      • 4.1.6

        adult products or adult services, pornographic or obscene (whether in text or in graphics) content;

      • 4.1.7

        gambling;

      • 4.1.8

        “Hate Speech” or any content which includes images that are offensive, profane, threatening, harmful, harassing or discriminatory (based on age, race, ethnicity, creed, national origin, religion, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, physical disability or otherwise);

      • 4.1.9

        violent or bullying;

      • 4.1.10

        email marketing;

      • 4.1.11

        virtual currency / super rewards;

      • 4.1.12

        automatic Bookmarking and/or automatic entry services

      • 4.1.13

        politically sensitive or controversial;

      • 4.1.14

        YouTube Scrapers, CD/DVD Ripping/Copying;

      • 4.1.15

        encouraging unlawful behavior or conduct;

      • 4.1.16

        scams, illegal activity and/or illegal contests, pyramid schemes, or chain letters;

      • 4.1.17

        spam or other mass advertisement means;

      • 4.1.18

        defamatory, libelous or slanderous, obscene;

      • 4.1.19

        infringement of the rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secret, design rights, moral rights or other third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights;

      • 4.1.20

        promoting the infringement of copyright or other third party rights, e.g., providing a list of hyperlinks to websites that contain pirated software or media files, hacking/cracking, etc.;

      • 4.1.21

        violating the privacy rights of others, including but not limited to, posting the photograph of another person without that person"s consent, providing any telephone numbers, street addresses, last names, URLs or email addresses;

      • 4.1.22

        interfering with the operability of third-party programs or software;

      • 4.1.23

        disparaging ironSource Ltd. or any third party;

      • 4.1.24

        an advertisement, a marketing initiative, solicitation of a business, or otherwise significantly connected with any commercial purpose;

      • 4.1.25

        containing restricted or password only access pages;

      • 4.1.26

        unlawful or illegal, objectionable material or that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any Applicable Rules including without limitation, Children"s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998.

      • 4.1.27

        performance or causing the performance of any automated system, including but not limited to "robots", "spiders", "offline browsers" or any other data harvesting activity or screen scraping, nor may you cause more requests to be made of the Service than could reasonably be made by a human manually operating a web browser.

      • 4.1.28

        misleading the user by mimicking system error messages or otherwise.

      • 4.1.29

        misleading and/or deceptive, including without limitation, by using the word “free” when the application is not free, using the word “winner” when the user has not in fact won anything;

      • 4.1.30

        misleading users into clicking through to an application that is unrelated to the content of the Advertised Content;

      • 4.1.31

        performing an automatic download to a user’s device or present a download dialog box without first presenting detailed information and a user-affirmed click to proceed with the download;

      • 4.1.32

        fake “close” buttons;

      • 4.1.33

        audio or flash animation that contains video media or files that are longer than 10 minutes in duration or audio media or files that are longer than 30 seconds in duration;

      • 4.1.34

        targeting to minors (i.e., children under the age of 13) and/or offer products or services that are illegal for minors to buy, possess, or participate in and/or solicits information from anyone under 18;

      • 4.1.35

        any program code designed to contaminate other computer programs or mobile programs or computer data, consume computer resources, which includes but is not limited to any virus, worm, Trojan horse, hidden file, lock, clock, "back door", copy protection feature, CPU serial number references or other device, computer code or program which may contaminate, destroy, disable, disrupt, erase, harm, impede or modify normal performance or functionality.

    • 4.2

      The Developer App and/or the Advertised Content and/or Publisher Assets, as applicable, must contain a prominent link to a privacy policy, which policy provides, at a minimum: (a) adequate notice, disclosure, and choices to consumers regarding your use, collection, disclosure, and security of their personal information; and (b) complies with all Applicable Rules.

  • 5.

    Update.

    mobileCore may update these Guidelines from time to time without notice to you.
